  1. This is the beta version of the new SoftICE video driver for both Windows 3.1
  2. and Windows 95.

  4. You will first need to copy all the files into your SoftICE directory and
  5. restart Windows.  You will then run VSETUP.EXE and pick an appropriate video
  6. card for your system and click on the Test button to test your selection.

  8. Windows 3.1 and Windows 3.11:

  10. you will have to manually edit your SYSTEM.INI file to include the following:

  12. [SIWVID]
  13. VIDTYPE=33      ;33 is the video type for ATI Mach64

  15. A list of VIDTYPE can be found in VSETUP.INI.
